PROFILE
Kate Jackson Architects is a contemporary architecture and interior design practice based in Buckinghamshire and London. Our work is defined by a modernist approach to space planning, combined with the careful use of vernacular materials, crafted detailing and refined architectural forms.
At the heart of our design philosophy is a commitment to sustainability. Drawing on Passive House principles wherever possible, we create highly efficient buildings that enhance occupant wellbeing, reduce operational energy use, lower running costs and deliver long-term environmental value. We believe sustainable design should be seamlessly integrated into every project, regardless of scale or budget.
We specialise in delivering exceptional projects within complex and sensitive settings, including Green Belt, Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings, Ancient Woodland and Flood Zones. Our strong track record in securing planning permissions in these challenging environments is founded on a rigorous understanding of planning policy, heritage considerations and environmental constraints.
The practice offers architecture, interior design and interior styling as a fully integrated service. This holistic approach ensures continuity of materiality, colour, craftsmanship and spatial intent from the earliest design concepts through to the final placement of furniture, lighting and decorative objects.
Working across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work, we guide clients from initial briefing and feasibility studies through planning, technical design and construction, to the completion of beautifully crafted interiors. The result is a seamless and highly personal design process that delivers homes of enduring quality, character and performance.
